Rust Repairs

In Feb 2020 my good amigo Jack Fisher offered to tackle the rocker panel welding tasks. I ordered $1300 of the necessary panels from Klassik Fab in Bogota Colombia for both sides. In March he began the work.

Marked-off the bad metal, cut-out the bad panels, and began welding-in the reinforcement panels & outer skins.

Left side rocker panels were first. Then he replaced the right-rear corner. And the right rocker panels were next. He welded new front bumper mounts into the front door frames. Next was pulling-out the large dents in the beltline on the doors, earned from a life on the ranch.

The rust repair phase was completed in early-June. Paint was ordered from TCP and will be done soon.
