Back into Workshop
The truck was parked inactive for 3.5 years during the relocation to the new home in Poway,, construction of the workshop, & restoration of the 1963 Variant. In October 2018 I spoke with Ron Smith to get the engine built. But the left-front drum was rusted stuck & unable to move the truck.
Jason Weigel relocated to San Diego in September & was able to help me get the drum unstuck & push the truck into the workshop. Engine will be removed next weekend & sent off to Ron.
