Gustav, 1963 VW Double Cab Truck

After buying a restored black steering wheel from Koch's at Prado I was excited to get it installed.  The original wheel had several cracks and was sun-dried.  My good buddy Eric Hand came down from Northern California with his puller tool.

First I removed the turn signal housing & removed the turn signal cancellation ring from the underside of the wheel.  The horn ring was removed & the horn wire taped-off.

Eric installed the puller and within a minute the old wheel popped loose.  Replacing the new wheel & freshly-painted turn signal housing was easy.  What a huge difference in the driving experience!
