"Ruby" 1962 T34 Cabriolet

Lee has been involved with vintage VWs since 1981 when he drove his 1971 SuperBeetle to college in Santa Barbara.  He's owned most models and enjoyed restoring them for use with his family of five kids.  Lee wrote for several vintage VW magazines and has specialized in the Type 34 Karmann Ghia.

He had dreamed of building a T34 Cabriolet that was a clone to the 1961 prototype.  When this very early Nov 1961 Coupe became available he instantly made the decision to buy it.
