"Ruby" 1962 T34 Cabriolet
Exhaust
When the engine was restored 20 years ago I installed the exhaust that it had. I didn't realize at the time that it was a late-model exhaust authentic for 1965.

In Father's Day in June I drove down to the beach and noticed it was getting louder each minute. When I got home I found the old muffler had issues.

I got lucky in July when good friend Rick Hasse happened to have an NOS early exhaust with pre-heat pipe in his spares & gladly offered it to me for free!

Although NOS it was surface rusty and the gray paint was chipping-off. So I stripped it to bare metal & painted with high-temp silver paint. Finished it with Anthracite for the right look. Also stripped & painted the tailpipe, tip, & early elbows. Bought NOS exhaust hardware kits, NOS gaskets, copper 12mm nuts, & NOS chrome exhaust tip.

In early-August I installed the new early exhaust system and it fits & sounds great!
