Stripping Old White Repaint

The car had been painted prior to 1969 in a solid white color.  Some bodywork had been done to cover up dents along the right door area and on the rear apron.

Jack made the decision to strip the white paint to get back to the original Gulf Blue underneath. Over a couple months he removed the old paint by hand.

The areas that had previous body filler were removed & some panels were repainted Gulf Blue.

Lee used Graffiti Remover, steel wool, & a flatblade screwdriver to remove the paint on the rear hatch & door frames.
