"Audri" 1963 VW 1500 Variant

Lee has been collecting & restoring vintage VWs since 1983.  He has owned Type 34s & Notchbacks but this is his first Variant.  In the early-90s he founded NONA (Notchback Owners of North America).  He's also the founder of the T34 World organization.

His collection includes three Type 34s, a 1963 Double Cab Truck, and this 1963 Variant.  He was born in 1963 so these have special meaning.  He took delivery of the Variant on 25 Feb 2018 at 60,914 miles.  We named her Audri, a traditional German girls name starting with A (1963 license plate series).

First additions were a full-circle horn ring & early ivory under-dash parcel tray.  Seat belts front & rear were a requirement.  And the front seats were restored.
