"Audri" 1963 VW 1500 Variant

The VW 1500 models had a specially-designed metal bud vase bracket to allow the vase to sit far enough off the dash pad yet still allow the ash tray to open.

I saw my first one at the El Prado show on a 1966 and decided I wanted one.  Asking around I was very fortunate to find Eric Hand had a spare he gave me.  Great guy!

I found a thin simple ivory vase in Germany.  And Silk flowers from Michael's was the finishing touch.
